Samuel Kail Joins CNB

Samuel Kail has joined CNB’s DeSoto County market as a Relationship Banker.

Samuel began his career in 2017 with Bancorp South as a teller and was selected to participate in their management trainee program as a Credit Analyst. In this position, he gained valuable knowledge about loan underwriting policies and procedures that provided him with a strong foundation to serve clients in the future.

In 2020, he was promoted to the position of an Associate Portfolio Manager in the Bank’s Corporate Lending Division. Among his other duties, Samuel was an active participant in presenting large loan requests to the Bank’s loan review team. In October 2021, Cadence Bank officially acquired Bancorp South, and in 2022, Samuel was promoted to serve as a Relationship Manager with the Bank. In this position, Samuel handled large loan requests for both consumer and commercial customers and served as the primary point of contact for numerous business clients to create value for these clients and to contribute to the success of their day to day operations.

Samuel is a graduate of Bethel University in McKenzie, Tennessee, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. While he was a student at Beth University, Samuel was also a wide receiver on the football team. He and his wife Brittany have a 4-month old daughter, Saylor, and the family attends East Point Church in Olive Branch, Miss.
